Overview

Position: Colour Assistant (Progressing to Junior Stylist)

Salary: £8.50 - £10 per hour (depending on qualifications and skill level)

Hours: Full-time, 38 hours per week, with the option for overtime

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Senior Stylist by managing and supporting their colour column
Build and develop your own client base as you transition into a Junior Stylist
Gain hands-on experience and training in all aspects of hair extensions
Provide excellent customer service and ensure clients receive high quality treatments
Collaborate with the Senior Stylist in a fast paced salon

Qualifications & Skills:

NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing

Passionate about building a career as a stylist and growing clientele

Keen interest in developing skills in hair colouring and all aspects of hair extensions

Assist Senior Stylist with daily salon operations
Prepare clients for treatments, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming experience
Shampoo, condition, and prepare hair for styling
Assist with salon cleanliness and organisation of workstations
Provide support with colour applications, styling, and other treatments as needed
Offer excellent customer service to all clients
